About the World Food Forum (WFF)
The World Food Forum is an annual global platform launched by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and held every October at FAO Headquarters in Rome.
Every October, thousands of young people, educators, innovators, policymakers, and global leaders come together at the FAO Headquarters to exchange ideas, foster collaboration, and help shape a more sustainable future for global agrifood systems.

About the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)

FAO’s Motto Fiat Panis. – Let there be bread.
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger and improve nutrition and food security.
The FAO comprises 194 members, including 193 countries and one member organization, the European Union (EU). Its headquarters is in Rome, Italy, and it maintains regional and field offices worldwide, operating in over 130 countries.
The current Director-General is Dr. Qu Dongyu.
